My Inner Child...

So I'm looking for my daughter a playhouse for our backyard for her 4th birthday. I'm sure we'll just end up getting her one of those plastic ones from Little Tikes or Step 2, but while looking online I came across these. Can you even imagine being a kid and having these to play in? It would be amazing! Or even better, as an adult, I could imagine having one to go to, curl up with a book or magazine and just have quiet! Ahhh, to dream....

Check out this one....

And the inside is even better!

Other adorable playhouses...

Here's to day dreaming,

The "Dis" Organized Mom

So I have to hand it to all you moms out there that always have your act together. It is a true art to not only bring along every possible need with you, but to actually have your diaper bag organized enough to find what you need. I was amazed at dinner the other night watching a very organized mother whip out of her bag the every need of her toddler - it was like watching a well rehearsed ballet - every need of the child was fluidly met - very impressive! Me on the other hand, well, I have found myself out with my 18 month old only to find that I forgot a sippy cup, a toy for entertaining or worse yet, wipes! The bottom of my bag is littered with raisins, cookie crumbs and half eaten fruit snacks. I try to be so organized and well prepared, but it seems like my good intentions are never quite met. Through this quest of mommyhood, I will continue to strive to be more like those organized moms - dare to dream!

If you are a disorganized mom and have a funny story to share, please leave a comment. Or, if you are one of my idol organized moms, please leave us a good tip!

The Buzz on ... Me!

So this is my first post - quite exciting. I'll start with s little about me first...I am 35 and have been married for six and a half years to my husband who I actually dated for 10 years before getting married. I have two beautiful children - a three and a half year old daughter and an 18 month old son. I work full time as a Sales Director for a professional sports team and although it is very time consuming, I love my job. However, I do struggle, as many moms do, with balancing everything in my life. But in true Jennifer fashion, I'm taking on another project with this blog! I'm excited to share with other moms out there many of the things that I love and hope we can learn from each other how to truly balance our lives as we all strive to become the "queen bees" of our families.

More to come,
Jennifer
